What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday 194

Finished.  That's what's on my desk.  Finished the 'recipe' baskets for the grunge workshop.  Finished die cutting the spirals that will become flowers.  Finished my first ever piece of jewellery, more of which I shall brag about at some other time.  Of course, there's not a lot of tidy going on....but it's not terrible..I think looks worse from this angle because of all the stuff on the counter top against the wall.  You be the judge.  This angle does make it look as if I own the biggest ATG dispenser, huh!!  Photo taken before daylight failed on Tuesday late afternoon...(nearly 5 o,clock, hurrah!).  This post, badly written at Oh Em Gee o,clock on wednesday morning.  Yep, day out helping the worker do visits, measuring and generally being the glamorous assistant.  Yep.  Me.

Join in do - post a pic of your work area on your blog, put WOYWW in the post title then link here.  Please.  Thank You.  There's slightly more in depth instructions to be found HERE.
WOYWW Housekeeping:
Believe it or not, week 208 will be the fourth anniversary!  I know....you're all to blame and it's totally ridiculous. I wanna suggest we do another ATC swap and will create a separate page about it in the next few days.

There's a WOYWW Crop on June 1st at Burbage Village Hall (same place as last year).  Again, you don't need to commit at this stage, just wanna flag it up as something you might be within reasonable distance of that you could consider coming.  Again, there'll be a new page about it (because I can) rather than wittering on every Wednesday.  (Yah, like I never witter on.)

Yes to ATC SWAP, it was great fun last year and I was such a newbie then too.
My ATG IS that big! I am recently the owner of the pink one and it is far too big for my desk so I haven't remembered to take a photo with it in yet - duh!
I'm still sick with a cold which started rather like flu last Wednesday in the early hours, but I couldn't miss WOYWW now could I?
Thanks for this site it is amazing. BJ#4 (yay single figures - there had to be something good about being up in the early hours every day for the past week with my cold!!)

Yes to an ATC swap please!! You caught me out with your early (and live, not even scheduled!) post, was just loading up ready for later and - here you are!! I took my photo from a different angle this time too, must be the sunshine making us go doolally!! Have a good day today, even if you're going to be rushing around...but I can see you in the role of glamourous assistant - after all, Debbie McGee did it!! Helen, 5

Holy moly. My heart skipped a beat because for a second I thought I was number one! It sounds like you've got a lot done so that's great.

How cool that you know how to do separate pages for special things like the ATC swap at the crop in June.

Hugs, kay

Eurgh! I get to Mr Linky at position 5, and by the time I've pasted my URL and written my name, I've already slipped out of the top 10 into 14th place. Grrr... you other WOYWWers are way too quick for me *lol*
Anyways... Julia, that really does look like the most humungous ATG ever :)
I'm not sure whether I like finishing or not... I get a sense of satisfaction that I've done something... and then a sense of loss and bewilderment at "What one earth do I do next?!"
Have a wonderful WOYWW Juia!

Dear Glamorous Assistant,
An ATC swap - I am so
Wish I could do a WOYWW crop, but alas it's a bit far to go....
Congratulations for being FINISHED...sometimes I get just about there and then because it is boring work, and I would rather be playing with some form of color i just don't wanna. Turns out I don't wanna do a lot these days but play with color, so I have not finished "my assignment". So in reality I might be a bit jealous on you being finished. BUT I can still be happy for you.

Hope you get a nap or some sleep along the way today!

Well done for finishing so many projects. I have managed to put a tick against a few in my notebook this week. Very satisfying. Ali x #40

Love your glass mat! I have one as well. I use it with my Fiskars Circle cutter (usually). Kinda funny, after I took my photos for this week's post and wrote most of my blog post, I trekked over to find this post. Low and behold, you had "finished" all over your blog post and my image was all about being "finished" too! What a coincidence! Thanks for sharing. Curious to know what a "recipe" basket entails? Does that hold all the supplies for a particular project? Kinda looks that way, but I thought I'd ask just the same. I love your button jar - so colorful!

I would highly encourage you get yourself some. And the other set I can't remember the name of but it comes with a man...I am loving it for anniversary cards and I'm thinking Father's Day cards, especially for a Father-in-law, with whom one might have a more formal relationship, and so on. Hi Julie....I was too hectic so I did not play this week.....interesting angle of your desk, spirals look like the will turn out fine...I would grunge them up...I guess, but maybe that is because I am always so inky, that everything gets grunge up one way or another.....
